Position Purpose
With direction from instructional technology services leadership and in partnership with services team and IT colleagues, provides audio/visual (A/V) services and related technical support for campus, online, and hybrid classes, events, and meetings.

Required Qualifications - Education and Yrs Exp Associates or equivalent combination of education and experience
Required Qualifications - Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
1. Experience and skill with setting-up and operating fixed and mobile cameras, microphones, video displays, sound amplification, video conferencing (e.g., Zoom), and other A/V equipment typically used in a business or academic setting.
2. Knowledge of higher education instructional technology, along with a liberal arts or technical degree, continuing education or technical certifications, and/or relevant work or volunteer experience.
3. Able to support, contribute to, and strengthen a vibrant, culturally diverse, and inclusive learning community of students, alumni, faculty, and fellow professionals.
4. Able to anticipate, deliver on, and exceed the expectations of internal clients, event services team colleagues, and event participants. Able to work some evenings and weekends to steward events.
5. Able to introduce and drive innovation in ways small and large.
6. Able to collaborate effectively with Tuck and Dartmouth colleagues to achieve shared goals and objectives.
7. Able to proactively identify and pursue relevant learning and professional development opportunities and apply new knowledge, insights, and skills to enhance results.

Key Accountabilities

Description
1. Audio/Visual Set-up, Operation, and Take-Down: Sets-up and tests AV equipment; joins pre-session walkthroughs and rehearsals, correcting AV set-up errors as needed; places and tests speaker and audience microphones; and assists with broadcasting of slideshows and other presentation materials. Resolves technical problems that arise during live sessions. Takes down, checks, and stores AV equipment.

2. Videography Support: Assists videographers with making edits and applying special effects to recorded videos. Delivers finished video recordings as directed or requested.

3.Equipment Maintenance: Partners with IT colleagues in procuring and maintaining AV equipment and supplies, arranging for repairs and software upgrades as needed.
