Position Purpose
Under general direction from the Athletics Facility and Events staff, this position assists with and performs duties needed for the execution of athletic contests & internal events. Work may be intermittent throughout the year based on the schedule of events and staffing needs.
Required Qualifications
  • Ability to work nights and weekends
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Knowledge and interest in sports and athletics operations
  • A team player with leadership skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of NCAA and Ivy League rules and regulations
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Key Accountabilities

Key Accountabilities
  • To serve in various support rolls for athletic competitions - scoreboard operator, public address announcer, usher, ticket taker, ball person, and others.
  • The essential functions of this position are performed indoors and outdoors in the weather conditions prevalent at the time.
  • The noise level in the work environments can range from minimal to loud during events depending on the employee's location.
